Houston

We are in Houston for Thanksgiving and Jackson's baptism. He has been having a great time with his cousin Charlie and see his grandmother, aunt and uncle. Here are some pictures of the trip so far. I love the pictures of the boys giving each other kisses!

Six Months

Hard to believe but Jackson was six months old on Friday. It is amazing how much he has grown and learned in the past 6 months. He is still a big boy - 17lbs (just under 75%) and 27 inches (75%). We finally learned how to roll over and we are starting to sit up. Our biggest accomplishment has been that his first 2 teeth are coming in. It is no longer cute when he bites your finger because now he has 2 little sharp teeth coming through. He loves that he is able to eat some finger foods now - biter biscuits are a new favorite even though he pretty much needs a bath afterwards because he is such a mess. He is also starting to master the art of picking up and eating the little puffs.

I am hoping that when ever we have a second child that I take as many pictures as I do of Jackson. Here are some really cute shots from the other day. I just loved him with the hood on.

a little update

Leslie, Dave and Tessa are here visiting and we have been having a great time. Friday we went to the beach and then today we went down to the Santa Monica Pier and went to the little aquarium. Jackson slept through it but Tessa seemed to enjoy looking at the fish. Here are a few pictures from this week and weekend.

We love the park!

Jackson has a new activity- swinging! We have a great little park at the end of our street so it is very easy to walk down there for a few minutes. I am so glad that we have another fun thing to do to get him out of the house. Here is a picture and a video. Check out his feet in the video - they are just kicking away!

First Halloween

Just thought I would post a few pictures of Jackson from Halloween. I love the one where he looks like the fattest little monkey!

Jackson is 5 months old!

Today is Jackson's 5 month birthday and he is growing like a little weed. He is a little ham and smiles and laughs all the time. He is eating solid food which he loves so I am interested to see how much he has grown when we go for his 6 month check up. At his last doctor visit he was 16 lbs (75%) and 26.5 inches (75%). He is also teething these days so we are hoping his teeth make their appearance soon because he is not enjoying it - and the constant drool is lovely.
